Apple Pie Hot Dog
What do you get when you combine baseball, hot dogs, apple pie and Chevrolet? An iconic 70s jingle. Partnering with our sister agency, Commonwealth//McCann, we put a new-school twist on the old-school classic with the help of TV chef and Mayor of Flavortown, Guy Fieri. We crafted content with Guy and baked up a treat that, frankly, had no business being made: The Apple Pie Hot Dog, which was offered exclusively at the MLB Field of Dreams Game in August 2021.

Writing copy for Chevrolet is one thing, but writing for a celebrity is another. I had the opportunity to frost my tips and try out my best Guy Fieri impression for paid partnership content on his feed. It was off the hook.

It sounds corny (get it?) but seeing the Apple Pie Hot Dog debut at one of the most unique sporting events ever — and going viral on social — was an unforgettable experience.
