The only thing Bridgestone loved more than tires was being The Official Tire of [ INSERT ANY SPORT HERE ]. Chevy, too, was The Official Vehicle of Major League Baseball. That means I’ve always had a means to scratch my ever-present itch for sports. I crafted content strategies and creative activations around the biggest day in sports and advertising: Super Bowl. I interviewed Olympians, created content about Tiger Woods and multiple NHL All-Stars and created content live at MLB All-Star Game. It has been a sports-crazed copywriter’s dream.

When our team on the ground in Miami captured content with Steve Young on the eve of Super Bowl LIV, we never expected his prediction of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk scoring a TD to be hot gameday content for us. However, he did score, and we quickly re-leveraged this video on Twitter to join the conversation live.

MLB All-Star Content

The MLB All-Star Game is one of the coolest events in sports. It’s a mix of culture, fun and, of course, the best baseball players in the world. In 2024, we had the chance to take all of that in and create social content on site in Texas. Armed with an iPhone, a mic, and a dream, we captured content for social on IG and TikTok that leveraged the experiential activation from Jack Morton Worldwide.

Bridgestone x PGA

Did you know Bridgestone makes golf balls? Well, now you do! With the GOAT, Tiger Woods, playing Bridgestone balls, we pumped out content around his exploits as well as those of U.S. Open winner Bryson DeChambeau. I just wish working on it helped my driver.

From Brad Marchand to Duncan Keith and P.K. Subban, we worked closely with our NHL partners to create #ClutchPerformance content throughout the season — headlined by the Bridgestone Winter Classic in January. As they say in hockey, let’s do that hockey.
